How can something that was actual in Athens two thousand years ago still speak to me?

Well, Shakespeare and Molière lived several centuries ago, and they works are as moving today as they were when they were written. The same goes for countless artists, poets, writers and composers, to mention just a few. The framework might have changed, new challenges arose and ancient ones disappeared, but the human beings, their basic needs, are still the same.
