Trainings & Workshops

The aim of our trainings and workshops is to leverage the cohesion of the team exploring a fundamental issue through an interactive exchange developed and guided by a philosophical consultant. The content and the methodology are crucial both in trainings and workshops, but their relationship may vary. A training is meant to adapt to the corporate environment the format of the academic seminar: it aims at sharing a useful and practical content through an active exchange among participants. A workshop, conversely, is more focused on the exchange itself, as it means to foster the participants’ self-esteem, their sense of belonging to the group they are working with, and the coherence of the group itself.

FROM LIVING TO THRIVING TOGETHER

Philosophy has always wondered on the impossibility to live alone, and on the hardships of living together. This training matches the bases of ethics with the most recent results of anthropology and psychology, to think about how morality helps us every day.
Goal of the training: understand how philosophy can take us from the necessity of living together to the importance of thriving together.

GOSSIP @ WORK

Gossip is often perceived as a problem in most human settings, but it is also the most common way of communication: according to certain research, up to two thirds of our conversations would count as gossip. This training explores contemporary theories showing how gossip is a powerful tool for the creation and sharing of knowledge, but also a dreadful instrument to spread judgements and mobbing.
Goal of the training: obtain a comprehensive view on gossip, to make us of its strengths but also to be able to defend oneself, personally and within a group, from the violent potential of gossip.

THINKING TOGETHER

Can we really think together? To be able to think together about a plan, to find a solution together, that is often the key to a real progress, but also the cause of emerging conflicts. Thought is something that takes place inside everyone’s head, hence the problem of sharing such an experience.
This workshop lets every participant face the challenges, the issues and the strengths that pertain to the distribution of thinking within a group.

CHANGE

Is change good or bad? For every living being, change is problematic. Individual change can be fostered by a change in external conditions, but also from a will that is proper to the individual, for instance in a desire to improve. This workshop fosters the reflection about the notion of change and its reflections in the lives of the participants, to understand together the aces that the mind can rely on to better deal with change.
